Retail Assistant

Job Opportunity: Retail Assistant at a Service Station in Fowey

Our client, a busy service station in Fowey, is seeking a dedicated retail assistant to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

The Role:

• Provide excellent customer service experiences.
• Handle cash transactions, operate the till, and replenish stock.
• Use your initiative to support daily operations.
• Sell products according to policies and procedures, e.g., Challenge 25.
• Assist customers with any forecourt issues.
• Escalate and report issues as instructed.
• Attend full training and induction sessions.

Requirements:

• Deliver high standards of customer service.
• Have up to 5 years of retail experience.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Previous retail and till experience is essential.
• Experience in service forecourts is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Must be 18 or over due to lone working on some shifts.

Days & Hours:

• Shifts will be 4-5 days per week.
• Shifts are either 7am-1pm or 1pm-7pm.
• Includes weekend work; flexibility is essential.

Rate:

• Holiday pay
• Weekly pay
