Job summary

Primark Edinburgh is seeking a part-time Retail Assistant to help customers, assist with sizes and styles, and keep shelves looking appealing and well stocked.

You will work varied shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends, with a focus on delivering fast, friendly service and maintaining high standards across the sales floor and fitting rooms.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail and customer service is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Able to work in a fast-paced fashion environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with sizes, styles, purchases and returns.
• Keep the shop floor tidy, attractive, and well stocked.
• Operate tills and handle queries, voids and returns promptly.
• Receive deliveries, price items, and ensure accurate shelf placement.

Pay rate: £13.71 per hour
Employment type: Temporary (End date: 02/01/2027)
Job type: Part time
Contracted hours: 20 hours per week
Shift pattern: Varied shifts including mornings; afternoons; evenings and weekends – all will be discussed at interview.

What you’ll do

As a Retail Assistant you’ll be making customer’s day, every day. Here’s a taste of what that looks like in action.

• Providing customers with an amazing experience as you assist them with things like sizes or styles, purchases or returns.
• Setting up a good looking shop floor with full shelves, tidy fitting rooms, and a sales floors that showcases all the latest fashions.
• Deliver a fast and friendly experience at till points, processing queries, voids and returns.
• Receiving, unpacking, and checking off new deliveries. Getting our products our onto the sales floor making sure they are correctly priced – all while making sure everything meets our high standards.
