About The Role

At GSF Car Parts, the role of a Retail Assistant is essential in delivering excellent Customer Service. You will be a key team member, contributing to branch and individual targets through face-to-face sales, servicing click and collect orders, and developing strong customer relationships.

Main duties include:

1. Serve trade and retail customers for click and collect and general orders while maximising sales.
2. Pick relevant parts from the warehouse to fulfil customer orders.
3. Assist the sales team with product promotions by answering phone and electronic queries.
4. Fully satisfy customer needs regarding part orders, returns, or queries.
5. Check customer returns for resale, warranty, or surcharge.
6. Contribute to team performance and work on personal sales benchmarks.
7. Utilise the E-learning portal to develop product knowledge.
8. Keep customer-facing areas clean and tidy.
9. Develop strong relationships with customers and understand their garage needs.
10. Represent the company professionally, maintaining our values and appearance.
11. Work towards relevant KPI targets.

Working hours: Approximately Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturdays.

About You

What you'll need to succeed:

• Customer service or retail experience in a customer-facing role.
• Target-driven and motivated.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Positive approach to customer queries and proactive resolutions.
• Confident IT and computer skills.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Attention to detail.
• Knowledge of car parts or automotive industry is a plus but not essential.
• Knowledge of MAM, Allicat, MS Office is desirable.
