Primark Cardiff is hiring a Retail Assistant on a fixed-term contract through 02/01/2027. The role is part-time with very flexible hours (8–20 hours per week) and weekend availability.

The position offers a £13.00 hourly rate and opportunities to work mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends, with details discussed at interview. You will help customers, maintain an appealing shop floor, handle till queries and assist with deliveries.

Qualifications

• Must be aged 18+ for roles with early/late hours.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Verify contracted hours if visa restrictions apply to hours.

Responsibilities

• Providing customers with an amazing experience at sizes, styles, purchases or returns.
• Set up a well-presented shop floor with shelves and tidy fitting rooms.
• Deliver a fast, friendly till experience and process queries/returns.
• Receive, unpack and price new deliveries to display on the sales floor.

What you’ll do

As a Retail Assistant you’ll be making customer’s day, every day. Here’s a taste of what that looks like in action.

• Providing customers with an amazing experience as you assist them with things like sizes or styles, purchases or returns.
• Setting up a good looking shop floor with full shelves, tidy fitting rooms, and a sales floors that showcases all the latest fashions.
• Deliver a fast and friendly experience at till points, processing queries, voids and returns.
• Receiving, unpacking, and checking off new deliveries. Getting our products our onto the sales floor making sure they are correctly priced – all while making sure everything meets our high standards.
