Job summary

Primark Stores Limited is seeking a part-time Retail Assistant at Merry Hill. The role involves providing excellent customer service, helping customers with sizes and styles, processing purchases and returns, and maintaining an inviting sales floor with well-priced products.

You will work with flexible shifts across Sundays to Saturdays, with a total contracted hour range of 6-20 per week. The position ends on 2027-01-02, and eligibility to work in the UK is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, assisting with sizes/styles, purchases or returns
• Maintain an appealing shop floor with fully stocked shelves and tidy fitting rooms
• Operate tills efficiently, process queries, voids and returns
• Receive, unpack and price new deliveries and keep products on the sales floor correctly displayed

Contracted hours: 6-20 Hours per week
Shift pattern: Full flexibility is required from Sunday to Saturday, with varied shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends – all will be discussed and finalized during interview.

What you’ll do

As a Retail Assistant you’ll be making customer’s day, every day. Here’s a taste of what that looks like in action.

• Providing customers with an amazing experience as you assist them with things like sizes or styles, purchases or returns.
• Setting up a good looking shop floor with full shelves, tidy fitting rooms, and a sales floors that showcases all the latest fashions.
• Deliver a fast and friendly experience at till points, processing queries, voids and returns.
• Receiving, unpacking, and checking off new deliveries. Getting our products our onto the sales floor making sure they are correctly priced – all while making sure everything meets our high standards.
