Brandon Trust in Devon and Cornwall is seeking an experienced Retail Area Manager to lead a cluster of charity shops, delivering strong commercial performance and inclusive environments. You will coach Shop Managers and volunteers to achieve high standards while maintaining excellent community engagement.
The role requires travel across Devon and Cornwall, with regular Shop visits and occasional trips to Brandon locations.
Salary: £36,829 per annum pro rata
Hours: 30 hours per week, worked over 4-5 days
Contract: Permanent, Part Time
Location: Devon & Cornwall (regular travel across both counties required, with occasional travel to other Brandon locations, including Bristol, when needed)

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Retail Area Manager to lead a cluster of charity shops across Devon and Cornwall. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who combines commercial expertise with a passion for people, community engagement and inclusion.
As our Retail Area Manager, you'll lead and develop a group of charity shops, supporting Shop Managers to deliver strong commercial performance, excellent customer experiences and safe, inclusive environments. You'll be responsible for driving sales, developing people, maintaining high standards and identifying opportunities for future growth.
You'll work collaboratively with colleagues, volunteers and local communities to maximise income, strengthen Brandon's retail presence and support opportunities for people with learning disabilities. You'll also play a key role in supporting the development and growth of the retail cluster, including identifying opportunities for new shops within the area.
