Job description

Department: Retail & Licensing

Hours of Work: 35 hours per week (includes some evenings and weekends)

Contract Type: Permanent

Closing Date: Sunday 1 September 2024

1. The Department

The Retail Team is responsible for front-line selling, driving sales revenue, and maintaining retail standards through back-of-house operations. The post holder will work in a dynamic environment and contribute to creating the first impression of the Aston Villa Club Shop as part of a ‘best-in-class’ team.

2. The Role

We are seeking a Retail & Licensing Administrator at Villa Park/Bodymoor Heath Training Ground. Responsibilities include retail administration, handling customer queries, stock control, processing wholesale and internal orders, and preparing reports on a weekly, monthly, and match basis. The role involves close collaboration with the finance team, including raising invoices and managing PO queries.

3. The Person

The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced retail environment, strong administration skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail systems. Experience in stock management reporting and sales data analysis is preferred. The role requires excellent organizational skills, adaptability, and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively, with a focus on customer service. Strong communication skills are essential for liaising with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
