The role of an Analytics Manager (Test & Learn) sits within our Data team. This role is crucial in shaping the strategic direction of customer, product, and market strategies, and in developing Currys’ customer propositions, services, shopping experiences, by delivering objective measurements of trials and recommending actions based on insights.

Role overview:

As part of this role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Driving and maintaining T&L governance across Currys, ensuring cross-functional collaboration and engaging with senior leadership to promote a Test & Learn culture.
  • Establishing and maintaining a structured library of trial designs and results to facilitate ongoing learning, ensuring insights inform future testing strategies.
  • Providing leadership in defining processes for triaging and scheduling trials to maximize business impact, ensuring effective test group structuring for accurate evaluation.
  • Monitoring post-trial progress to guide strategic decisions, such as investment, rollout, or further development.
  • Ensuring thorough monitoring of completed projects and planning future trials aligned with business priorities.
  • Assessing and refining T&L methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Offering strategic interpretation of trial results and translating insights into clear, actionable recommendations that influence business decisions.
  • Creating strategic insight decks that communicate test results, conclusions, and recommendations effectively.

This role involves close collaboration with Retail Operations, Marketing, Space Planning, HR, Property, Supply Chain, CRM, eCommerce, and other functions. The Analytics Manager will champion a culture of objectivity and organizational learning by maintaining robust T&L practices, ensuring the trial library is accurate, prioritized, and measured effectively.

You will need:

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to align T&L initiatives with strategic business objectives.
  • Ability to analyze complex challenges and translate insights into strategic recommendations.
  • Proven stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across multiple levels and functions.
  • Exceptional communication skills to craft compelling narratives for stakeholders.
  • Ability to leverage data-driven insights from diverse sources to inform practical business decisions.
  • Experience in leading test design and experimentation strategies in retail environments.
  • Self-starter with initiative, drive, and tenacity.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience in Retail Operations, Consumer Products, and Business Insights.
