Salary: Competitive + Fantastic Benefits

As a Retail Advisor, you’ll be part of a team that delivers exceptional customer service, helping people discover the products and services that suit them best – even if they’ve left their shopping until the last minute.

This is a 4-month Fixed-Term Contract to support our busy holiday period, so you’ll need to be available to work across the festive season, when our stores are at their liveliest.

Who we are

At Virgin Media O2, we’re not just about keeping people connected; we’re about making every interaction meaningful.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Welcoming customers with a friendly, approachable attitude – even when they’re in last-minute shopping mode.
  • Building rapport to understand their needs and recommending tailored solutions.
  • Showcasing our innovative products and meeting performance goals during the busiest season of the year.
  • Helping to maintain an inviting and organised store environment that’s ready for the festive footfall.

The must haves

  • Confidence, communication skills, and a passion for delivering great service – whatever the time of year.
  • Resilience and motivation to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Flexibility to adapt to different shifts and customer demands – especially in the run-up to Christmas.
  • An open mind, ready to learn and grow in a fast-paced retail setting.
  • Must be able to start from 10th September and be available to work throughout the festive period.

The other stuff we are looking for

  • A genuine interest in technology and how it can make life better (and gifting simpler).
  • Previous experience in retail, sales, or customer service (though not essential).
  • A proactive attitude and team spirit – because Christmas in retail is definitely a team effort.

What's in it for you

We’ll set you up for success. You’ll have a supportive team and tailored training on a 4-day (30-hour) induction within the first two weeks of your start date. You’ll learn everything you need to shine during peak season – and help make the customer experience a little more magical.

You’ll Also Receive

  • A competitive hourly rate of £12.40, with the potential to earn more through our accreditation programme.
  • Opportunity to take part in our accreditation programme leading to further progression.
  • 23 days’ annual leave and an additional day off to celebrate your birthday, plus the option to buy and sell leave to suit your personal needs.
  • An excellent pension scheme, matching up to 10%
  • Employee BUPA medical cover, health care plan and life assurance
  • A host of family friendly policies, such as neonatal leave, 14-week paternity leave and carers leave.

As well as the benefits (check them out here), we offer a wide range of support, rewards and tools to help you focus on what really matters.
