Retail Account Manager with experience of managing food retail needed to manage M&S account for a food manufacturer that offers training & career progression.

As Retail Account Manager for a food manufacture you’ll manage the M&S account worth over £12m. You’ll be supplying them with own label branded products and reporting directly into the Commercial Controller.

This is an opportunity to join a business that offers scope for training, development, and career progression throughout the UK and beyond. Being based in the East Midlands your time will be split working from home, the office, along with visiting M&S and other production sites.

The business has strong values for their team, their customers, the working environment, and their product quality. They’re a leading food manufacturer that produces fresh prepared products and operate from multiple sites around the UK.

As part of the Commercial team on this premium account, you will be responsible for specific areas of the business, delivering the best category management, supporting strategic direction, and protecting market share across the Convenience categories.

To be considered for the role you’ll have;

  • Strong influencing skills and be capable of delivering commercial and category strategy
  • The ability to analyse a wide variety of data and to deliver insight
  • The ability to generate monthly reports, review category, and produce ad hoc commercial analysis
  • Accurate commercial reporting skills
  • Skills to work cross-functionally on specific projects
  • A full UK driving license and your own car

This role will suit an Account Executive or National Account Executive who has been in a similar position, crucially you will have had experience of managing retail accounts for a food manufacturer.
