The Resuscitation Practice Development Nurse/Paramedic at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust will support the Resuscitation Practice Development Manager in delivering high-quality, evidence-based resuscitation training across the Trust, spanning inpatient, community and specialist settings.
They will act as an in-house ILS Tutor, deliver ward-based in-situ training and assessments, and support early recognition of the deteriorating patient.
The Resuscitation Practice Development Nurse/Paramedic will support the Resuscitation Practice Development Manager in delivering high-quality, evidence-based resuscitation training across the Trust, spanning inpatient, community and specialist settings.
The post holder will act as an in-house ILS Tutor, deliver ward-based in-situ training and assessments, and support early recognition of the deteriorating patient. They will provide ad-hoc and specialist training across Trust teams, one-to-one support following ILS/BLS training, and coordinate training activity to maximise compliance.
The role also includes oversight of resuscitation equipment and administrative records, contributing to audit and service improvement, and deputising for the team manager as required. The post holder will maintain their professional registration and keep clinical knowledge up to date.
