Job Description:

What will you be doing?

We're seeking a talented individual to join our Restructuring & Recover Services team in London, to assist with the supervision of the restructuring and recovery process from planning to review and completion.

As Manager, your responsibilities will include among others:

  • Maintain a portfolio of insolvency cases and ensure cases are efficiently and proactively progressed.
  • Participate in independent business review, and other advisory work.
  • Liaise with appointee and other Evelyn Partners staff to ensure all are kept up to date.
  • Ensure staff are briefed and motivated to complete cases efficiently.
  • Review and supervise staff work, providing constructive feedback.
  • Provide training through on-the-job experience.
  • Ensure all work is reviewed and files are complete for review.
  • Identify opportunities to provide further services.
  • Assist the partner/director in meeting stakeholder needs and extending services.
  • Exceed service level expectations where possible.
  • Attend marketing events as appropriate.
  • Review statutory documents for compliance with insolvency regulations.
  • Prepare case reviews and brief partners on work and issues.
  • Assist in managing WIP and debtors on a client basis.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should:

  • Have substantial experience in corporate insolvencies (administration/liquidation) and property insolvencies (LPA).
  • Know insolvency legislation and statutory requirements.
  • Be quick to learn and adapt to new procedures and situations.
  • Be organized and able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
Professional Qualifications and Education
  • Ideally a qualified accountant or JIEB.
