THE ROLE

Restructuring and Recovery Manager/Senior Manager - Glasgow

As a Manager/Senior Manager in the Restructuring team, you will lead complex restructuring and insolvency cases, working closely with stakeholders to provide strategic advice and technical expertise. You will support the team in delivering high-quality services, developing new business opportunities, and contributing to the department's success.

Responsibilities include:

1. Leading the administration of complex restructuring cases, supporting licensed insolvency practitioners to maximize recoveries.
2. Providing advice to company directors, shareholders, creditors, and debtors across various restructuring scenarios.
3. Preparing proposal documents for review.
4. Maintaining and developing technical knowledge of restructuring procedures.
5. Performing detailed technical work and producing advice and recommendations.
6. Producing reports, presentations, and analysis for meetings and external clients.
7. Researching new legislation and identifying new case opportunities.
8. Participating in management activities, ensuring targets are met, and supporting strategic objectives.
9. Delivering training and presentations internally and externally.
10. Supporting business development and networking activities.

Requirements:

• Experience in case administration within a Restructuring/Insolvency team managing various case types.
• CPI qualification is advantageous but not required.
• JIE qualification is advantageous but not required.
• Strong technical knowledge of insolvency law and regulations.
• Full clean driving license and willingness to travel.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing situations.
• Experience in networking and business development.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence in client-facing roles.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with IPS case management systems.
