Job summary

A leading international law firm in London is seeking a Restructuring Lawyer to join its Tactical Opportunities team. The role suits a qualified lawyer with experience in restructuring, high yield or leveraged finance who wants to apply legal expertise in a commercial capacity and engage with sponsors, lenders and clients.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with 2-3 years' PQE in restructuring, high yield or leveraged finance.
• Experience in financial restructuring or financing transactions.
• Strong analytical, drafting and research skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Commercial mindset with interest in capital structures.

Responsibilities

• Identify and monitor potential restructuring candidates and watchlists.
• Highlight opportunities to Partners.
• Analyse financial and capital structures from a legal perspective.
• Produce clear, commercially focused analyses for client discussions.
• Develop opportunities to advise companies, sponsors and lenders.
• Communicate complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Own research on individual companies while collaborating with the Tactical Opportunities team.
