Job Description:

Restructuring Delivery Administrator

We are searching for an experienced Restructuring Delivery Administrator.

Consulting brings together multiple teams across Transactions, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing to provide client-centric solutions for RSM’s current and future clients within the middle market. Our Consulting team plays a major role in driving the growth of the firm, with over 1,700 people delivering almost £200m revenue.

At the heart of Consulting are six solutions we offer our clients: business transformation, deal services, finance function support, risk and governance, forensic and investigation services, and restructuring. These solutions create a tailored approach to support our clients in achieving their strategic goals and empower our people to make an impact and develop their careers.

About the Team

  • The Restructuring Delivery Team (“RDT”) is part of the Core Restructuring Advisory Team and the wider Transactions service line.
  • The RDT is a new national virtual team managing all insolvency appointment day-to-day responsibilities taken on by RSM.
  • The team comprises members based across the country, including students, junior staff, and experienced staff providing guidance, training, and support.
  • The RDT supports the practice by delivering high-quality, compliant insolvency processes, handling complex cases, and suggesting solutions to achieve the best results for stakeholders.

The role primarily involves supporting the RDT on a national basis and communicating with colleagues across regions. While not required to attend marketing events, you may choose to support locally and assist Partners with marketing and business objectives. The team’s structure allows for a predictable workflow and a good work/life balance.

Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the Restructuring Delivery Team
  • Executing processes for each RDT seat according to standards and compliance
  • Handling pre-appointment Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidation matters
  • Managing complex investigation post-appointment insolvency matters across various insolvency types
  • Preparing statutory documentation as instructed by RDT managers
  • Drafting letters and reports as required
  • Communicating with creditors and employees
  • Adjudicating creditor claims
  • Managing distributions to creditors
  • Supporting ERA tasks
  • Completing diary lines within deadlines
  • Liaising with HMRC for tax clearance
  • Assisting in case closures in the ‘closure’ seat
  • Data entry onto internal systems
  • Submitting timesheets on time and within budget
