Job description

We are searching for an experienced Restructuring Advisory Manager.

Consulting brings together teams across Transactions, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing to deliver client-centric solutions for RSM’s middle market clients. Our Consulting team, with over 1,700 members, generates nearly £200m revenue.

Our core solutions include business transformation, deal services, finance support, risk and governance, forensic services, and restructuring. These tailored solutions help clients achieve strategic goals and empower our team members to develop unique careers.

An exciting opportunity exists in our Restructuring Advisory team. You will develop a broad range of skills across advisory and insolvency assignments. The role is primarily based in Manchester, but involves national travel to client sites across the UK. You will also participate in marketing activities alongside Partners and senior team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete assignments following Firm procedures and statutory obligations, including client and billing arrangements.
  • Assist in planning and executing insolvency cases with team members, adhering to procedures and legal requirements.
  • Understand client challenges and develop solutions with senior staff, focusing on administrations, CVAs, and property receiverships.
Candidate Profile

We seek individuals who enjoy variety, learning, and connecting with people. If you are proactive in spotting inefficiencies and improving processes, this role is suitable for you.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Experience managing stakeholder relationships internally and externally.
  • ACCA / ACA (or equivalent) qualification, with experience in advisory and insolvency roles.
  • Proven ability to prepare or analyze financial information.
  • Experience in Restructuring Advisory and/or Insolvency; CPI qualification is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and commercial skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality work on time.
