Job Description:

We are searching for an experienced Restructuring Advisory Associate to make an impact at RSM UK.

About RSM Consulting

Our Consulting team brings together multiple disciplines to provide client-centric solutions within the middle market, with a focus on business transformation, deal services, finance support, risk and governance, forensic services, and restructuring. We aim to support our clients' strategic goals and empower our team members to develop their careers.

This role involves working within the Restructuring Delivery Team, contributing to its development and success. Corporate insolvency experience is essential, along with a passion for training and developing junior team members. The role requires strong technical, analytical, and report writing skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills.

The position involves collaboration across the country within RDT and the wider Restructuring Advisory team. While marketing attendance is not required, opportunities to support marketing and business objectives locally are available.

The team structure allows for a predictable workflow and a healthy work/life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting administration and liquidation processes with compliance to RDT and RSM standards.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure timely task completion.
  • Building internal relationships within RDT and across RSM service lines.
  • Managing, training, coaching, and supervising graduate and school leaver staff.
  • Providing on-the-job training for team members.

Candidate Profile:

We value diverse experiences. Our ideal candidate will have:

  • 3-4 years’ experience in Restructuring Advisory and/or Insolvency, ideally at Assistant Manager level.
  • Proficiency with case management systems like IPS.
  • Decision-making and effective communication skills.
  • Strong insolvency technical knowledge, including drafting proposals and reports.
  • Good time management and ability to handle multiple commitments.
  • Strong communication skills and commitment to high-quality delivery.
  • A desire for personal development and training junior team members.
