Job Description:

We are searching for an experienced Restructuring Advisory Associate to join RSM UK. Consulting at RSM combines teams across Transactions, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing to deliver client-centric solutions within the middle market. Our Consulting team, comprising over 1,700 professionals, generates nearly £200m revenue.

Our core solutions include business transformation, deal services, finance support, risk and governance, forensic and investigation services, and restructuring. These enable tailored strategies to help clients achieve their goals and support our team members' career development.

This role offers the opportunity to work within the Restructuring Delivery Team, contributing to its growth and success. Corporate insolvency experience is essential, with a focus on training and developing junior team members. The candidate should possess strong technical, analytical, report writing skills, and excellent interpersonal abilities. A passion for training and development is also required.

The position involves collaborating with colleagues nationwide, ensuring effective communication of progress and expectations. While marketing is not a core part of the role, candidates may choose to support marketing efforts locally. The team’s structure allows for predictable workflows and work/life balance.

You will make an impact by:

  • Supporting administration and liquidation processes, ensuring compliance with RDT and RSM standards.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to meet deadlines.
  • Building internal relationships across RSM to support RDT objectives.
  • Managing and training graduate and school leaver staff, including coaching and supervision.
  • Providing on-the-job training for team members.

What we are looking for:

  • CPI qualification (beneficial but not required).
  • 3-4 years’ experience in Restructuring Advisory and/or Insolvency, preferably at Assistant Manager level.
  • Proficiency with case management systems like IPS.
  • Decision-making and effective communication skills.
  • Strong insolvency technical knowledge, including drafting proposals and reports.
  • Good time management skills, capable of handling multiple commitments.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Commitment to high-quality delivery within deadlines.
  • A desire for personal growth and training junior team members.
