Job summary

Interpath has an opening for Assistant Manager in Restructuring, based in Leeds, Manchester or Newcastle upon Tyne. You will join the Core Insolvency Restructuring group, handling multi-jurisdictional assignments and advising on distressed businesses and formal insolvency work for large institutions.

Qualifications

• ACA qualified or to qualify in 2026
• Experience in corporate insolvency beneficial; licence/JIEB ideal but not required
• Demonstrable experience managing own workstreams in Restructuring and Insolvency
• Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
• Proactive self-starter with ability to work independently and delegate within teams
• Desire to broaden insolvency expertise across restructuring services
• Excellent communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
• Willingness to travel and work across sectors

Responsibilities

• Work in engagement teams of typically 3 to 6 people
• Build strong adviser relationships with senior management and lenders
• Manage engagements to scope, time, quality and budget
• Oversee client communications as main point of contact on some assignments
• Conduct detailed analyses to present robust client advice
• Assess and develop innovative solutions in distressed situations
• Contribute to new product development or business development
• Develop junior staff on assignments
