Job description

Growth Kitchen is on a mission to make eating great food the norm. Our platform enables kitchen operators to sell well-known restaurant brands, such as The Athenian, from their existing kitchens. We are looking for talented individuals to help grow and oversee our operations across the UK, working closely with kitchens and brands to change the landscape of the restaurant industry.

You will travel to our network of third-party delivery kitchens to ensure that our franchisees are operating smoothly, cook our food to high standards, and help our kitchen partners maximize their success through strategic support and management. We seek someone willing to get hands-on, train kitchens, communicate professionally with customers, and interested in the commercial aspects of running a business and optimizing for success. The role requires national travel (paid) 80% of the time.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  1. Train new franchisees: help them learn how to cook our brands
  2. Run regular checks on-site, help them cook more accurately and better
  3. Work with teams and managers in partner kitchens to improve operational and commercial performance
  4. Manage a cluster of 20 kitchen partners, owning their growth and weekly performance
  5. Support partners by getting hands-on in the kitchen and solving site issues when they arise

This is an incredible opportunity to join a high-growth foodtech startup, where you will have significant responsibility early on and autonomy to achieve your goals. Progression opportunities will be exciting as the business expands. It provides a transition from hands-on kitchen management to overseeing multiple kitchens and ensuring their smooth operation.

Minimum requirements include:

  • 1-4 years of work experience in a restaurant/hospitality role as a GM of a single site or similar
  • Excitement to learn, ask questions, and be open to coaching
  • Willingness to travel and visit kitchens across the UK, engage with customers, and help them cook our food well
  • Friendly, positive, and clear communication skills, with enjoyment in meeting new people
  • Fluency in English and right to work in the UK

Benefits include:

  • Work directly with leading food delivery brands
  • Predictable working hours, no weekends
  • Be part of a fast-growing startup
  • Competitive salary
  • Pension scheme
  • Stock options
  • 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays
