Job summary

British Garden Centres in Hayes is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support our culinary team. You will perform general kitchen duties, keep work areas clean, aid with pot washing, and assist with basic food preparation under the guidance of our chefs and cooks.

This role offers regular hours, no evenings, a welcoming, family-run environment, and staff discounts. Flexible shifts may be required to meet business needs.

As a Kitchen Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, assisting with food preparation, and supporting the overall efficiency of our culinary team.

In this role, you will work closely with our chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff to ensure that all equipment, utensils, and work areas are clean and sanitized.

You will also assist with basic food preparation tasks as directed by the chef or cook.
