Job description

An opportunity for an experienced Restaurant Supervisor join our friendly team at the award-winning Garlic Farm Restaurant!

The Garlic Farm in Newchurch is one of the Island's most popular tourist destinations and we provide a high-quality experience to our customers in our restaurant, shop and farm site. The restaurant has won multiple awards for consistently delivering locally sourced, quality food and has a reputation for an excellent level of service. The Garlic Farm is BCorp Certified and a Living Wage Employer and is committed to having a positive environmental and social impact.

As the busy season is upon us, we are looking for a confident and capable Restaurant Supervisor to join our fun and friendly restaurant team. Everyone works hard and also has fun together.

The role requires a self-motivated, customer-oriented person who is well organised and enjoys taking initiative. Our restaurant is very busy in the summer season so you need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to work under pressure. The role is seasonal with an opportunity to become a permanent contract for the right candidate.

Skillsand experience:

  • At least 3 years front of house management/supervisor experience
  • Excellent customer service skills and presentation
  • Ability to make barista coffees
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Proactive, self-motivated and disciplined
  • Ability to plan and prioritise
  • Be able to remain calm under pressure
