Job Description:
Duties and responsibilities
- Oversees and manages all areas of German Doner Kebab Restaurant
- Ensures guest service exceeds company standards and maintains high guest satisfaction
- Responds efficiently to guest complaints and takes appropriate action
- Ensures the best quality of products is served
- Organises and supervises shifts to ensure team and guest satisfaction
- Trains and develops team through structured training and feedback
- Appraises team performance and provides feedback
- Estimates consumption, forecasts requirements, and maintains stock inventory
- Monitors and ensures compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations
- Controls costs and minimises waste to maximise profitability
- Promotes and publicizes the GDK brand
- Nurtures a positive working environment and leads by example
- Monitors all restaurant operations and initiates corrective actions
- Acts as duty manager on rotation basis
- Leads financial areas including sales growth, cost management, and profit growth
- Analyzes and plans sales levels and profitability
- Organizes marketing activities, such as promotional events and discounts
- Prepares reports at the end of shifts/weeks
- Creates and executes plans for sales, profit, and staff development
- Sets budgets and coordinates with franchisees
- Coordinates restaurant operations during shifts
- Manages team welfare and provides feedback
- Ensures employees adhere to uniform standards
- Greets guests and manages reservations
- Supervises shifts of kitchen, dining, and counter teams
- Maintains high standards of quality, hygiene, and safety
- Checks stock levels and orders supplies
- Prepares cash drawers and petty cash
- Supports restaurant operations as needed
- Encourages teamwork and a positive environment
- Completes daily reports
- Attends training and meetings
- Performs other duties as required
- Ensures restaurant security
- Coordinates stock deliveries with supervisors
- Maintains accurate records
- Collaborates with GDK and franchisees for accounts and deliveries
- Administers the PMC system
- Monitors stock storage areas
- Ensures stock control and margin targets
- Monitors daily stock orders
- Provides excellent customer care
- Monitors staff training and performance reviews
- Maintains high standards of food quality
- Supports staff during peak times
- Maintains staff grooming standards
- Follows legal and safety regulations, including food safety scores
- Checks compliance with EHO and fire safety standards
- Maintains equipment and preventative maintenance

Qualifications
A qualified candidate should have excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for teamwork. The following qualities and skills are essential:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager
- Experience in customer service management
- Extensive food knowledge
- Proficiency in English
- Computer literacy and familiarity with management software
- Strong leadership and motivational skills
