Job description

We are seeking an exceptional Restaurant Reservations Agent (Restaurant Reservations Sales Consultant) to join the Maybourne Reservations team at the Corporate Office.

Maybourne owns and manages Claridge's, The Connaught, The Berkeley, The Maybourne Beverly Hills, The Maybourne Riviera, and The Emory (Opening April 2024) – some of the world's most renowned hotels. Main Duties & Responsibilities

As a Restaurant Reservations Agent (Restaurant Reservations Sales Consultant), you will be responsible for processing reservations received via both verbal and non-verbal communication methods while maximizing revenue and managing the day-to-day administration of the Reservations Sales Office.

Your duties will include but will not be limited to:

  1. Making reservations across all Food & Beverage outlets for Claridge’s, The Berkeley, and The Connaught to the required standards;
  2. Maximizing restaurant revenue through cross-selling and up-selling;
  3. Paying attention to agreed cover restrictions and employing cover maximization and cross-selling techniques plus product knowledge;
  4. Making individual reservations to the required standard, adhering to Maybourne policies related to telephone standards, cancellation policies, and written confirmations;
  5. Creating renowned memorable experiences for our guests.

Entry Requirements

Successful candidates for our Restaurant Reservations Agent (Restaurant Reservations Sales Consultant) opportunity will:

  1. Provide intuitive service, with absolute understanding of our guests' needs to create exceptional service experiences that result in lasting memories;
  2. Demonstrate genuine dedication to Maybourne and show a commitment to consistent quality in our products and services;
  3. Ideally have worked in a similar role within a hotel environment, however, this is not a prerequisite;
  4. Be a team player who is an avid learner, adaptable, and has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills;
  5. Possess strong customer care skills and the ability to work under pressure, with excellent attention to detail;
  6. Exhibit a high standard of personal presentation with a confident, professional, and welcoming personality.
