The role:

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspiring leader, creating a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support coaching and developing your team to excel while driving restaurant performance and achieving excellent results.

What you will do:

  • Foster a caring and supportive environment, celebrating successes and nurturing talent within your team.
  • Ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high standards of food quality and safety, and empowering your team with necessary skills and mindset.
  • Maintain spotless food, health, and safety standards, and understand the financial aspects of a kitchen, including gross profit, stock control, and labour costs.
  • Build a coaching culture within your team, working closely with the Head Chef on recruitment and ongoing development.
  • Be a proactive problem solver, making quick decisions and thinking on your feet.

What we look for:

  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to have meaningful conversations and support your team.
  • Experience maintaining high standards of food, health, safety, and financial performance.
