Job description

Location: EC3V 0BG

Salary: £40,000-£42,000 + performance related bonus

Shift Pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 7:30-15:30

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Staff Restaurant, serving 250-350 covers per day
  • Lead and manage a team of 8: 1 Restaurant Supervisor and 7 Catering Assistants
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and team development skills
  • Maintain high standards and drive continuous improvement in service and presentation
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure exceptional food quality and service
  • Show passion for food, innovation, and have knowledge of various cuisines
  • Handle HR matters, including conflict resolution and general HR issues
  • Maintain Food Safety (FS) and Health & Safety (H&S) compliance at all times
  • Plan and implement marketing initiatives to promote the restaurant and its offerings
  • Manage and deliver training to support team development and performance
  • Work closely with the Deputy General Manager and Executive Chef to evolve the food offering
  • Possess strong working knowledge of CH&CO and Compass BOH systems
  • Demonstrate financial acumen, including understanding and managing profit & loss, and adapting the offering accordingly
