Restaurant Manager (Maternity Cover)
Department for Continuing Education, Rewley House, 1 Wellington Square, Oxford
About the role
The Department for Continuing Education is seeking to appoint a responsible and experienced Restaurant Manager for maternity cover. The Department's catering operation takes place mainly at Rewley House with some catering at Ewert House, Summertown too. The Restaurant Manager will manage the catering, which includes overseeing the service, managing the team, organising the rota, and upholding the standard of service.
The Department has a busy catering operation providing meals and fine dining events to our students and external clients. The operation runs over the 7 days of the week. Shifts will vary to cover the hours of business requirements, normally over 5 days per week, and will include weekend and evening work.
About you
The successful candidate will be professional, customer-focused, flexible, and have an organised approach to work. S/he should be experienced in supervising or overseeing a catering operation.
