passionate Restaurant Manager to support the General Manager and help
lead our team in one of London’s most exciting hospitality environments.

About the Role

As Restaurant Manager, you will play a key role in
driving the daily operations of the restaurant, supporting the leadership team
and motivating staff to deliver unforgettable guest experiences. You’ll be
hands-on, energetic, and solutions-focused—someone who thrives in a high-quality,
high-volume service environment.



You will provide the leadership, vision and direction to bring together and
prioritise the departmental goals in a way that will be efficient and
effective.

You’ll act as a role model to the front-of-house team,
support staff training and development, and take the lead in service, quality
standards, and team engagement.

In This Role You’ll:

  • Establish
    and maintain a good rapport and working relationship with all Staff
    Members and other departments as well as suppliers.
  • Provide
    a courteous, professional, attentive and excellent service always
  • To
    have a complete understanding of all the restaurants service functions and
    responsibilities.
  • Describe
    and ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation
    methods, as well as provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits in an
    elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive
    experience for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
  • Work
    closely with the General Manager, Assistant General Manager andHead Chef.
  • Manages
    daily shift operations and ensure compliance with all restaurant policies,
    standards and procedures.
  • To
    attend training, team meetings as required.
  • To
    effectively receive and channel guest feedback to maintain the highest
    possible standard.
  • Be
    an ambassador for the ethics and values of Black Rock Restaurants

People Management

  • Select,
    train, evaluate, lead, motivate and guide all employees in the division to
    ensure that core standards are met and provide support for all new
    recruits through on-the-job training.
  • Attend
    and contribute to Staff Members briefings and other related
    activities
  • Supporting
    recruitment, induction, training and performance appraisals of new
    employees
  • To
    build and maintain an efficient team of employees, driving the team
    towards the objectives of the business.
  • To
    ensure that the restaurant’s wage budgets are strictly adhered to.
  • To
    recruit and select employees to the agreed staffing levels.
  • To
    develop a learning culture and to ensure that all team members feel valued
    and rewarded.
  • To
    promote the training and development of staff to ensure standards are
    maintained and monitor all training and development within the
    department.
  • To
    manage all employees in line with the agreed skills and standards, giving
    regular feedback and appraisals.
  • To
    assess staff performance against the agreed skills and standards.
  • To
    constantly monitor the grooming and personal hygiene of the team.

Guest Service

  • The
    ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good
    public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for
    guests, clients, and group contacts.
  • Dealing
    with and effectively resolving or if necessary, escalating, customer
    queries, complaints and feedback
