To support our ongoing expansion, we are seeking an experienced and energetic Korean Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and culinary management, along with a thorough understanding of Korean cuisine and culture, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role requires a leader who is passionate about food preparation, cooking, and team management, with the ability to inspire and effectively supervise staff.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all facets of a Korean restaurant, including food preparation, service, and guest satisfaction.
  • Oversee kitchen staff and front-of-house teams to guarantee a smooth service experience.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and uphold high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Collaborate with chefs to develop culinary trends, craft menus that emphasise seasonal dishes, and introduce novel ingredients.
  • Train and mentor staff in food preparation methods, hospitality skills, and providing excellent customer service.
  • Monitor stock levels and order supplies as required to ensure smooth operations.
  • Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally to improve guest satisfaction.
  • Hold regular staff meetings to share goals, updates, and training opportunities.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote the restaurant within the local community.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in managing a Korean restaurant or a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of Korean food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
  • Supervising experience is essential; previous roles in team management are highly advantageous.
