Overview

Join our team at Haven (Haggerston Castle Holiday Park) in Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland, on the shores of the county’s beautiful beaches. Beal, Near Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland TD15 2PA GBR.

Position: Restaurant Manager - JD Wetherspoon
Type: Full-Time / Permanent
Bonus: Up to 10% Annual Bonus

*On-site accommodation provided, subject to availability and T&Cs.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the front-of-house JD Wetherspoon team with energy and a people-first approach; set the pace, lead by example, and inspire the team to perform at their best daily.
  • Lead with impact: motivate and coach team members, celebrate successes, and provide constructive feedback to foster growth.
  • Deliver excellence: manage budgets, resources, and compliance to ensure smooth operations, safety, and consistency.
  • Create memorable moments: focus on every guest, elevate service, and turn challenges into opportunities to wow.
  • Drive performance: uphold high standards, encourage innovation, and continuously improve service delivery.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in roles such as Restaurant Manager, General Manager, Front of House Manager, or a similar leadership position.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Experience in budgeting and financial management.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
