Job summary

Popeyes Louisiana Chicken UK&I is seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to take full ownership of a busy outlet. You will lead a fast-paced team, drive sales, control costs, ensure food safety and brand standards, and deliver exceptional guest experience.

You will recruit and develop talent, manage rostering and inventory, and own performance metrics including H&S, P&L, and guest satisfaction. A dynamic, energetic leader who thrives in change will succeed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a General Manager in a branded, high-volume QSR or fast-casual restaurant.
• Ability to deliver quality, safety and cleanliness standards at all times.
• Track record of hitting sales targets, managing P&L, and controlling costs.
• Experience with labour scheduling, stock management, and inventory systems.
• Strong people leadership, building teams and developing future talent.
• Experience in new-site openings or multi-site environments is beneficial.
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with food safety (HACCP), health and safety, and employment legislation.
• Full accountability for restaurant performance, inc P&L, sales, labour, food cost, audit and brand standards.
• Support and develop your team to grow their careers and unleash their potential.
• Deliver Popeyes' food quality, speed of service, and guest experience standards.
• Own recruitment, development plans, and succession planning for your site.
• Control stock, inventory, ordering, and waste to target.
• Build rotas balancing availability, labour budgets, and peak trade.
• Review performance data to identify opportunities and take action.
• Bring energy and culture to the team and keep service smooth.
