Position Overview:

The Restaurant General Manager at Daxton Hotel is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing and elevating our food and beverage operations in Madam, Café Dax, Geode, Daxton Delights and In Room Dining. As the steward of our culinary offerings, you will ensure that our guests have a memorable dining experience, offering a harmonious blend of culinary excellence, service, and ambiance.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Strategy:

Develop and execute the strategic vision for the hotel's restaurants and bars. Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of restaurant managers, bartenders, and service staff.

Foster a culture of exceptional customer service and operational excellence.

Culinary Excellence:

Collaborate with the Executive Chef to curate diverse and innovative menus that reflect global and local culinary trends.

Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.

Ensure that all food and beverage offerings are in line with Daxton standards and guest expectations.

Guest Experience:

Create and maintain an atmosphere that embodies luxury, sophistication, and warmth.

Continuously monitor guest feedback and use insights to enhance the guest experience.

Ensure a seamless dining experience by overseeing reservations, service, and guest relations.

Develop and manage budgets for each restaurant and bar, optimizing cost controls and revenue generation.

Analyze financial reports and make data-driven decisions to maximize profitability.

Implement marketing and promotional strategies to drive business and increase revenue.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:

Ensure that all operations comply with health and safety regulations, including food safety and alcohol service.

Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout all F&B outlets.

Implement and oversee training programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills.

Vendor and Supplier Management:

Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.

Source and select high-quality ingredients and beverages to meet the standards of the hotel.

Event Management:

Plan, coordinate, and execute special events, private functions, and themed dining experiences within the outlets.

Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to attract group bookings and private events.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in food and beverage management, with a track record of success in luxury hotels or upscale dining establishments.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and cost control.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • A passion for culinary innovation, fine dining, and guest service.
  • Knowledge of industry trends, local food culture, and global dining trends.
