What You’ll Be Doing

As Bar Manager, you will work as part of a team to deliver friendly, professional, and memorable service to all of our guests.

You will be able to motivate, train, and supervise the bartenders in the team, including managing the bar team's rota.

You will be responsible for serving drinks, making cocktails, and providing table service to all guests wishing to relax in our bar and lounge areas.

The bar team also supervises Afternoon Tea guests within the hotel, including table set-up, coordinating the food service from kitchen to table, all to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.

Having expert knowledge of all drinks that we offer will be key to ensure appropriate recommendations can be made to drive sales and profitability.

You will be responsible for the beverage stock and all subsequent administration, including conducting stock takes with the external stock take company.

You will work alongside the restaurant management team to control the wage costs of the department in line with budget expectations.

You will ensure all bar staff are trained on departmental health & safety, and that training records are kept up to date.

What You’ll Need?

The successful candidate will be professional, knowledgeable, and dedicated to delivering first-class experiences to guests and hotel residents.

You will be highly attentive with strong communication and interpersonal skills, confident in building relationships with guests and team members. You will be friendly, enthusiastic, and driven to enhance service quality and guest satisfaction.

You will have previous experience in hospitality, preferably with a hotel bar background, including meeting, greeting, and interacting with guests.

You will demonstrate strong leadership skills and be able to oversee daily bar operations.
