Job summary

Notcutts Brampton Garden Centre is hiring a part-time Restaurant Assistant to join our busy in-centre restaurant team. You’ll be serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea during daytime hours, with no late shifts.

We value a neat appearance, punctuality and a positive, can-do attitude. You’ll work with customers and colleagues to deliver friendly, efficient service, on weekends with some flexibility for extra hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous waiter/waitress experience in a busy restaurant
• Well presented, organised and punctual
• Positive ‘can do’ attitude
• Able to communicate with customers
• Able to work effectively as part of a team and on their own

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve customers in a busy garden centre restaurant
• Work as part of a team and on own initiative

Part Time - Weekends. An element of flexibility is required and additional hours, including working bank holidays, may be available dependent on business needs.

We are looking for experienced colleagues at our very busy Notcutts Garden Centre Restaurant, working alongside our existing highly professional and energetic restaurant team. Our restaurant serves a comprehensive menu for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea and operates day time hours only.

You will not be required to work later than 5pm, however flexibility on working days is required.

Our ideal candidates will:

• Have previous waiter/waitress experience in a busy restaurant
• Be well presented, organised and punctual
• Have a positive ‘can do’ attitude
• Be able to communicate with customers
• Be able to work effectively as part of a team and on their own
