Overview

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Responsive Repairs Manager to join the team, overseeing the day-to-day delivery of general responsive repairs across social housing stock, predominantly based in the North and Northwest London region. You'll be responsible for managing a multi-trade workforce covering carpentry, plumbing, plastering, damp and mould, and general maintenance. The role involves coordinating operatives, ensuring quality workmanship, managing budgets, and maintaining high levels of resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and support trade teams delivering day-to-day responsive repair works
  • Monitor productivity, quality, and compliance with health & safety procedures
  • Liaise with clients, residents, and internal departments to ensure effective communication
  • Oversee the timely completion of works and resolve any operational challenges
  • Prepare reports, track KPIs, and drive continuous improvement within your team
  • Manage budgets and support commercial performance of the contract
Qualifications
  • Proven experience managing responsive repairs within social housing
  • Background in general maintenance or multi-trade works (plumbing, carpentry, damp & mould, etc.)
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with a resident-focused approach
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Full UK driving licence
