The Global Responsible Business team at EY brings to life the EY ESG and sustainability strategy, strategic and regulatory reporting, and operationalization of network-wide sustainability commitments. The Responsible Business team works with stakeholders across the organization to implement EY’s sustainability policies, practices and non-financial reporting. The team is part of the broader Global Corporate Responsibility function focused on driving sustainable, inclusive growth.
One of the essential parts of EY’s Responsible Business strategy is managing EY’s non-financial reporting and disclosure commitments internally and externally. The ESG Controller - Assistant Director is a key role in the Responsible Business function, with responsibilities including coordinating and driving a full suite of sustainability reporting, including both voluntary and regulatory reporting readiness. The role will work closely with data owners and cross-functional teams, drawing insights for leadership from ESG data, and preparing appropriate reports and disclosures.

The ESG Controller will play a critical role in managing our global sustainability reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations. This detail-oriented position requires a deep understanding of ESG principles and strong analytical skills. The ideal candidate has financial reporting experience and can help to apply the same rigor to sustainability reporting. This role requires strong project management skills and a candidate who can work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and reliability of ESG disclosures to support the organization's sustainability goals.
This Global role requires working closely with and building trusted advisor relationships with stakeholders at all levels across the functions so confidence and ability to connect with various stakeholders is critical.
