A healthcare organization in Warwick is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care and support for patients with cardiopulmonary diseases. The candidate will perform therapy treatments and educative roles for patients and families, while contributing to emergency care when needed. An Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy and relevant certifications are required, along with experience in the field.
Primary Function: Responsible for providing respiratory care and assisting with the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of a range of cardiopulmonary diseases and disorders.
Responsibilities:
Job Qualifications and Specifications: An Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy and NBRC Certified Respiratory Therapist credential is required; Registered Respiratory Therapist credential is preferred. RI Respiratory Care Practitioner license is required. A minimum of six months of job-related experience or equivalent is preferred.
