Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time band 7 Lead Respiratory Specialist Nurse to join our dynamic, caring, and professional Primary and Community Respiratory nursing team.

Working in the primary and community care setting, the successful candidate will be expected to work across the health board and will be responsible for leading in delivering safe, high-quality care to patients with respiratory conditions and/or those requiring home oxygen, with the aim of providing care closer to home.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Main duties of the job

The post involves leading our Respiratory nursing team, providing expert knowledge, training to healthcare professionals, and education for patients and families. The role includes working in patients' homes, clinics, and respiratory hubs, undertaking oxygen assessments, pulmonary rehabilitation, and spirometry as required.
