Job Description

The Clinical Sales Specialist will promote AstraZeneca’s respiratory brands to healthcare professionals in primary care, using face-to-face and remote engagement tools to support healthcare professionals and improve patient care.

Candidate Profile
  • Experience in face-to-face and virtual sales, preferably across different platforms
  • Relevant science degree and proven sales experience or new to industry with a strong background
  • Results-driven, resilient, customer-focused, with strong interpersonal and technological skills
  • ABPI qualified (or new to the role)
  • Qualified to A-Level or equivalent
  • Knowledge of the therapy area and NHS environment
  • Strong virtual influencing skills and success in virtual pharmaceutical sales
Key Responsibilities
  1. Meet or exceed sales and market share targets
  2. Deliver call plans and execute local account strategies
  3. Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  4. Maintain high clinical and NHS knowledge
  5. Use promotional materials effectively during calls
  6. Ensure compliance with AstraZeneca’s governance and ABPI Code
  7. Present effectively on virtual platforms
  8. Demonstrate initiative and emotional intelligence
