Overview

This is a fantastic part-time opportunity for a Practice Nurse to join a forward-thinking and well-respected GP surgery in North Bristol for 3 days per week (Monday, Thursday and Friday). The practice is a well-established GP training practice in a smart, spacious, purpose-built building with a large car park. It benefits from a strong partnership and a sizeable multi-disciplinary team including GPs, other Practice Nurses, Pharmacists, Physios and more.

They are looking for a Practice Nurse, ideally experienced with respiratory, to join the established Practice Nurse team. The practice supports career progression and development and is happy to assist with prescribing, if desired. There is a generous package on offer, up to around £23.60 DOE for a non-prescriber, including 6 weeks annual leave, Employee Assistance Program and a cycle to work scheme.

Responsibilities

• See a mix of treatment room duties with a focus on Chronic Disease Management (ideally respiratory).
• Work alongside an established team of other Practice Nurses.
• Part-time hours (Monday, Thursday and Friday) with extended hours one evening per week.
• See patients of all ages.
• Contribute to a highly skilled, multi-disciplinary team in a single-site GP practice.
• Use Emis Web computer system.
