Surrey Downs Health & Care are looking for a Bank Band 6 Respiratory Physiotherapist to start immediately Monday to Friday 08:00-16:00, 37.5 hours a week.
Support with the running of PR classes and assessment of patients with respiratory disease.

To work as a member of Surrey Downs Health & Care to develop and provide high standards of holistic assessment, treatment, evaluation, and advice to patients with lung conditions in the community, including pulmonary rehabilitation assessments and classes.
Surrey Downs Health and Care is an innovative partnership between the local GP federations, CSH Surrey, and Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust.
To provide effective, efficient, and high-quality physiotherapy treatment programmes for respiratory patients in the community setting and within the pulmonary rehabilitation service. To lead assessments, group education sessions, and exercise classes, adjusting exercises according to patients’ health status on that day.
To undertake oxygen therapy assessment and prescription (Long-term oxygen therapy and ambulatory oxygen).
To act as a source of expertise on the management of respiratory patients, providing support and advice to other health professionals/agencies both within and external to the Trust.
To communicate with patients in a way that empowers them to make informed choices about the management of their condition and engages them in the planning and delivery of treatment.
To communicate complex patient-related information effectively to ensure collaborative working within the Multi-Disciplinary Team.
To liaise with all referring agencies to facilitate the provision of an effective and timely service.
