Job description
Overview

We are looking to recruit a suitably qualified Respiratory Physiologist on a permanent contract. The post will join our friendly team at the Lung Function Unit, Russells Hall Hospital, Dudley. It would be an ideal opportunity for someone who has recently qualified or is just completing a BSc Clinical Physiology (respiratory).

Responsibilities
  • Perform a range of diagnostic procedures on patients within a specialised physiology setting, including full lung function tests, challenge testing, sleep studies, muscle pressures and field exercise tests to support the day-to-day running of the service.
  • Carry out these tests primarily on an outpatient basis with adult patients.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team within the Lung Function Unit to deliver high-quality respiratory investigations.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Ideal candidates will be ARTP registered or applying for ARTP registration.
  • Experience working in respiratory physiology, particularly in specialist areas.
