Job summary

NHS Grampian is recruiting Physician Associates to join our Respiratory Service. You will contribute to assessment, investigation and management of patients with respiratory conditions across inpatient and outpatient settings.

The role offers rotational duties, supervision from Consultant Respiratory Physicians, opportunities for professional development and a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Post Graduate Diploma in PA/Associate Studies with at least one year of experience or an NHS intern year.
• Registered with the appropriate professional body and maintain required CPD.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork.
• Able to work flexibly within a busy clinical environment.
• Interest in developing specialist expertise in respiratory medicine.

Responsibilities

• Assess, investigate and manage patients with respiratory conditions.
• Rotational duties across inpatient wards, outpatient services and respiratory diagnostic pathways.
• Collaborate with Respiratory Consultants, Specialist Nurses and the wider MDT to deliver patient-centred care.
