South Tees NHS Foundation Trust in Middlesbrough invites applications for a Consultant in Respiratory Medicine. The post is a 10 PA contract with 1:7 on-call weekends and a mix of outpatient and inpatient responsibilities.

The successful candidate will focus on TB, COPD and pleural diseases, joining a dedicated respiratory team at James Cook University Hospital with cross-site duties to North Tees. GMC registration and Specialist Register timing are required.

Formación

• Completion of a recognised training programme in respiratory and general medicine.
• Sound diagnostic and therapeutic skills including bronchoscopy and lung function testing.
• Experience in management of rapid access lung cancer clinics and MDT membership.
• Experience in endobronchial interventions (where applicable).

Responsabilidades

• Provide outpatient and inpatient respiratory care.
• Contribute to evening and weekend on-call commitments (1:7 weekends).
• Cross-site cover at James Cook University Hospital and University Hospital North Tees.
• Negotiate and agree the detailed job plan with Clinical Director.
