Job summary

James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Band 3 Healthcare Assistant for Ward 18. You will join a busy Respiratory and General Medicine ward with a supportive team, providing high-quality patient care and ongoing development opportunities.

Applicants with some experience are welcome; progression via skills training to higher bands may be possible. Visa sponsorship is unlikely.

Qualifications

• Current or recent acute hospital HCA experience.
• Ability to elevate concerns and work with a multi-agency team.
• Demonstrates kindness, compassion and empathy; good time keeping.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills on the ward.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality HCA support on the Respiratory and General Medicine ward.
• Assist with patient care, comfort, and dignity in a busy hospital setting.
