Job summary

Southend University Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a Band 2 Health Care Assistant to join our Cardiology unit. You will work under the supervision of registered staff to wash and dress patients, monitor observations, support meals, move patients, and maintain a clean, safe clinical area.

Training and development opportunities are available via the HCA Academy, with ongoing support and a focus on patient-centred care within the Mid and South Essex system.

Responsibilities

• Wash and dress patients.

• Manage stock levels for linen and other supplies.
