Due to continued success and future business growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Group Resourcing Advisor to join our team based at our Group head office in Barlborough, Chesterfield.

Joining the Group HR team as our Resourcing Advisor, you will work alongside our Senior Talent & Resourcing Partner supporting the business’ hiring managers on all aspects of the recruitment process by providing support and advice on candidate attraction, developing candidate relationships and championing recruitment best practice at all times.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced recruiter to transition into an inhouse role, working on a wide variety of vacancies whilst also becoming an integral part of both the candidate and hiring manager experience.

Key duties and requirements

You will also be responsible for but not limited to;

• Advertising vacancies, creating engaging candidate focused adverts which align with the wider Avant Homes brand whilst also attracting a diverse range of candidates.
• Providing day to day support to the Senior Talent & Resourcing Partner in relation to all recruitment activity.
• Supporting and advising hiring managers on the end to end recruitment process from advertising through to interview and offer.
• Pre-screening candidate applications via telephone and video call.
• Responsible for sourcing candidates through a variety of direct methods in order to source the best possible talent throughout the industry.
• Conducting all resourcing activity in alignment with Group policy and process.
• Actively promoting vacancies across the Avant Homes social media channels in order to champion and enforce the Avant Homes employer brand awareness.
• Candidate management via the inhouse Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Assisting hiring managers with candidate feedback and employment offers.
• Advising hiring managers on interviewing and onboarding best practice.
• Working alongside the wider HR team in relation to the employee lifecycle.

Who are we looking for?

Reporting to the Senior Resourcing & Talent Partner, the successful candidate will play an instrumental part in the delivery of our successful in-house resourcing model. Collaboration, excellent attention to detail and relationship building are key factors to success within this role.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who possesses the drive and motivation to think ‘outside of the box’ when traditional methods of resourcing have been exhausted on difficult to fill vacancies.

To be considered for this role you must also possess;

• Previous experience of high volume recruitment campaigns.
• The ability to work well under pressure within a high performing environment.
• Experience of working with an ATS is desirable.
