Job description

Our client based in Aberdeen is looking for a Resources Assistant/Dispatcher to join their team on a 3-month contract basis with the view to go staff.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide administrative support to Resources Coordinators (Asset, M&S, and/or Product Coordinators) to enable them to focus on planning tasks.
  2. Identify potential future resource needs based on upcoming jobs reflected in business systems and communicate these to the Resources Coordinator.
  3. Track job start/end dates in planning systems (iDistrict, JMP, FDP) to coordinate scheduling and mobilization of rigs and service delivery locations.
  4. Support data entry into business systems used by Resources Coordinators and initiate relevant notifications.
  5. Liaise with Coordinators and other functions to facilitate equipment movements and monitor lead times.
  6. Perform administrative tasks related to import/export and inter-location shipments, including physical and system-based actions (OneClick, iBaserequests, TMS, LCT).
  7. Handle administrative tasks related to M&S requests in business systems.
  8. Maintain permits for equipment, transportation of dangerous goods paperwork, and insurance documentation.
  9. Complete fixed asset disposal and acquisition paperwork and review monthly asset movement reports.
  10. Assist Asset Coordinator with fixed asset reconciliation tasks.
  11. Support TLM in equipment receptions and onboarding, including mechanical lifting duties for shipping.
Experience & Qualifications
  1. Previous logistics experience/knowledge.
  2. Experience with logistics tasks such as customs clearance and generating shipping requests.
  3. Proficiency with complex computer systems.
  4. Experience creating purchase orders and tracking orders through to receipt.
  5. Good planning skills.
  6. Effective communication skills (face-to-face, phone, email).
  7. Ability to work well as part of a team.
  8. SAP knowledge/experience is desirable.
