Job summary

Zen Educate is hiring in the UK education sector to expand the candidate pool, onboard teachers and teaching assistants, and match skills to school requirements. The role emphasizes building strong candidate relationships and maintaining a smooth daily operation to ensure a healthy pool of available cover.

The ideal candidate has knowledge of the UK education sector, with teaching qualifications or experience considered a major plus.

  • Formal qualifications / experience in teaching is a huge plus.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the success of the team, including increasing the number of new candidates on the platform.
  • Help ensure the smooth running of daily operations in the business including maintaining liquidity of candidates available for cover as well as ensuring fulfilment of any short term bookings.
  • Carry out the necessary onboarding processes and assessment for teachers and teaching assistants.
  • Interact with candidates in a friendly and helpful manner and maintain positive relationships to keep them on board with us and create a great candidate experience.
  • Increase the number of talented candidates on our platform and help place them in roles by matching their skills to the schools' requirements.
  • Organised with vetting processes and ensure all right to work checks are completed.
  • Work collaboratively across the business with the sales and technology teams to help improve efficiency.
  • Growth Mindset - Adaptable and excited by the prospect of moving fast.
  • 'Can do' attitude, bias for action and wants to be part of a growing motivated team.
  • You love to take ownership and want to grow with us!
  • Having experience and/or strong knowledge of the education sector is a big plus.
  • Helpful to have but not essential
  • Interest in and the desire to work as part of a sales team.
  • Passion for interacting and managing relationships with customers.
