Job summary

Zen Educate, based in Truro, Cornwall, is seeking an enthusiastic, mission‑driven candidate experience professional to join our growing team. This full‑time role sits in the office five days a week and offers a clear path to impact education staffing through our fast‑growing platform.

You will onboard teachers and teaching assistants, verify right‑to‑work checks, nurture positive relationships with candidates, and collaborate with sales and technology to improve efficiency while helping schools

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the success of the team, including increasing the number of new candidates on the platform.
• Help ensure smooth daily operations, maintain candidate liquidity for cover and fulfil short-term bookings.
• Carry out onboarding and assessment for teachers and teaching assistants.
• Interact with candidates in a friendly and helpful manner and maintain positive relationships.
• Increase the number of talented candidates on our platform and help place them in roles by matching their skills to the schools’ requirements.
• Organised with vetting processes and ensure all right to work checks are completed.
• Work collaboratively across the business with the sales and technology teams to help improve efficiency.

Location: Truro, Cornwall

Type: Full-time, 5 days in the office

Salary: £28-32k base, £30-37k on target earnings

Helpful to have but not essential

• Interest in and the desire to work as part of an sales team.
• Passion for interacting and managing relationships with customers.
• Strong knowledge of the UK education sector. Formal qualifications / experience in teaching is a huge plus.

What will you be doing?
